Self-Realization, Dealing with Stress, Comfort Food is not the Solution

I think it’s time to reveal a little more insight in myself. Just vlogging and processing my thoughts and self actualization.

DEPRESSION: The 7 DIFFERENCES BETWEEN WOMEN & MEN

Today I talk about the 7 differences between men and women when it comes to depression. Obviously, everyone will feel different, and nothing is cut and dried but these are just some of the statistical differences that we see between the sexes. I think it’s important to note because women are found to be 2x more likely than men to struggle with depression. So the more we know, hopefully the sooner we can reach out for help.
1. Women tend to feel more sad and worthless. Whereas men tend to feel more irritable and agitated.
2. Women tend to take the negative icky feelings out on themselves. While men, are more likely to lash out at others.
3. Women tend to cope with food and friends. While men tend to cope with TV, sex and alcohol. This really just shows us how both sexes can unhealthfully numb out from their depression when it gets to be too much.
4. Women also tend to get depressed over stressful life events. Men are able to better see that it’s just a situation and it will go away and be okay. Women on the other hand, will ruminate at night and really worry or stress about the situation.
5. Women are much more likely to also struggle with a coexisting eating disorder. Why would that be? Because we tend to cope by using food! If you find yourself using food to numb out from your feelings of depression, please reach out for help. It can get better, but the sooner we get help, the easier recovery will be.
6. Depression is more debilitating to women. I would assume this is because we ruminate and lean on our friends during these hard times. This can lead to us feeling worse and worse and potentially ruin relationships. So please get professional help sooner rather than later!
7. Women reach out more often then men! So men, reach out! Let’s all get help sooner rather than later.

How rTMS works. What depression and anxiety doesn’t want you to know.

rTMS, Innovative new treatment for severe mental disorders
Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) is a treatment for adult patients with Clinical Depression and many other psychiatric disorders.

Advantages of rTMS
What are the advantages of rTMS?
Highly effective, recommended by national treatment guidelines (NICE) for depression
Long lasting effects
You may be able to stop anti-depressant medication, PREVENTING common medication side effects like nausea, stomach cramps, drowsiness/ insomnia, weight gain etc.
No withdrawal or discontinuation symptoms
Non- invasive and painless so no anaesthesia is required
Ability to resume your daily life right after the treatment every day
Fast 3-6 week outpatient treatment
Side effects uncommon and mild

What does rTMS involve and how does it work?
Each Session of rTMS lasts about half an hour and you will need daily sessions 5 days a week for 3-6 weeks. During the sessions, you can sit or lie down, read, talk or listen to music or just relax.

You will be in a chair similar to a dental treatment one for the treatment. The treating professional will place an electromagnetic coil against your forehead near the area of your brain that regulates mood. The coil passes magnetic pulses to this part of your brain to stimulate brain cells.

What are the costs of rTMS at The Oaktree Clinic?
In our attempt to make rTMS accessible to everyone the cost of high quality rTMS treatment at Oaktree is 50% less than in London and lowest in the UK. We offer packages with our local hotel accommodation at 40% less than you would find on even travel price comparison websites.

FOR DETAILS contact 0121 3140330

Affordability:
We are committed to making this highly effective treatment available to as many people suffering from depression and its effects, as possible. We would, therefore consider personal circumstances to offer a discount to those who are unable to pay the entire amount as stated above.

FREE Recovery 6-Step Video Course: http://followtheintuition.com/

Download audio version of this video: http://bit.ly/2mMBiay

In this video/audio recording I explain why you might experience such negative emotions like fear, anxiety, frustration, in eating disorder recovery. Why it happens and what to do about it. Are you going crazy? Are you too weak for recovery? Is something wrong with you?

You might be worried about your weight gain or experiencing extreme hunger. You might feel like you never stop gaining, you struggle with eating your fear foods because it causes you extreme anxiety. You want to recover but just can’t handle the uncomfortable emotions and feelings your experience every day. You might even feel like relapsing since recovery just seems mentally too hard to handle.

Eating disorder recovery is tough and scary…but you actually need to get to this uncomfortable place to fully recover…why? Find out in this video!
