My Top 5 Tips For Coping With An Anxiety Attack



This is a nice short video, on my top 5 tips for coping with an anxiety attack.

For thos of you who suffer from anxiety, then you will fully understand the magnitude in which you can feel yourself becoming overwhelmed. I know I do on a daily basis, with this battle against OCD and depression.

These top 5 tips, should help to lower ylur anxiety.

#1 – Breathe! Make sure that you slow your breathing down, hyperventalating will only aggravate the situation.

#2 – Fix your focus, familiarise yourself with your surroundings by noticing 5 things around you.

#3 – Get rid of your adrenaline, you can do this by shouting, screaming, jumping up and down, you get the picture.

#4 – Positive Affirmation, the feeling of anxiety is the exact same feeling of excitement, so just remind yourself that you are excited as opposed to anxious.

#5 – Remain in the situation, do this for as long as you can, ideally 20 minutes and your body will naturally calm down. If you can’t make 20 minutes then do as long as you can and pat yourself on the back!
