Wanted to document what I eat on vacation to give you an idea of a realistic approach to try and keep on track of healthy eating. I love food and I don’t like to torture myself by depriving my body. So here’s how we do it 🙂
This is not a perfect diet and I didn’t want it to be- Its important for me to show you the little tricks that I use such as:
Probiotics, digestive enzymes, lots of water, avoiding heavy crab foods, using lemon to season instead of mayo based sauces, sharing to control portions, starting the day with water and lemon, trying to start the day with green juice and just being mindful and enjoy yourself!

Sharing 3 green smoothie recipes for you to try in case you want to start making smoothies and don’t know where to start!
I always try to stay away from putting too many fruits and try to get more greens and other superfoods in there!

My rum suggestion only applies for after hours! Not encouraging to day drink while mothering/ working/ being a functional member of society 🙂
Basic Green Smoothie
1 cup green tea (
2 romaine lettuce
1 cup spinach
1/2 cucumber
1 green apple
1/2-1 banana
Optional: spirulina 1/2-1 tsp (
Green Mango:
1 cup water
1/4 cup greek yogurt
1 cup kale
1/2-1 cup frozen mango
Optional: 1/2 tsp grated ginger
Green Pina Colada:
1 cup coconut water
1/2-1 cup frozen pineapple
1 tbsp chia seeds (
Optional: shredded coconut 1/2 tsp
